چکیده

Two accelerating cosmological models are presented in symmetric teleparallel $f(Q)$ gravity, $Q$ be the non-metricity. The constructed based on assumptions of two different functional forms and a dynamically changing nature deceleration parameter that shows transition at $t=2n\pm\sqrt{\frac{4n^2+1}{3}}$, $n$ being positive constant. In both models, equation state for dark energy gravity becomes dynamical quantity crosses phantom divide line. violation strong condition null late times also established. addition, system analysis has been performed three critical points each model identified. model, least one stable node observed. To strengthen further, stability using homogeneous linear perturbations to ensure models.

F (r) Gravity, Torsion and Non-metricity

For both f(R) theories of gravity with an independent symmetric connection (no torsion), usually referred to as Palatini f(R) gravity theories, and for f(R) theories of gravity with torsion but no non-metricity, called U4 theories, it has been shown that the independent connection can actually be eliminated algebraically, as long as this connection does not couple to matter. Remarkably, the out...

Poisson–Sigma Model for 2D Gravity with Non–Metricity

We present a Poisson-sigma model describing general 2D dilaton gravity with non-metricity, torsion and curvature. It involves three arbitrary functions of the dilaton field, two of which are well-known from metric compatible theories, while the third one characterizes the local strength of non-metricity. As an example we show that α corrections in 2D string theory can generate (target space) no...

CONTROL OF CHAOS IN A DRIVEN NON LINEAR DYNAMICAL SYSTEM

We present a numerical study of a one-dimensional version of the Burridge-Knopoff model [16] of N-site chain of spring-blocks with stick-slip dynamics. Our numerical analysis and computer simulations lead to a set of different results corresponding to different boundary conditions. It is shown that we can convert a chaotic behaviour system to a highly ordered and periodic behaviour by making on...

Accelerating Monte Carlo methods for Bayesian inference in dynamical models

Making decisions and predictions from noisy observations are two important and challenging problems in many areas of society. Some examples of applications are recommendation systems for online shopping and streaming services, connecting genes with certain diseases and modelling climate change. In this thesis, we make use of Bayesian statistics to construct probabilistic models given prior info...

Towards Inflation and Accelerating Cosmologies in String-Generated Gravity Models

The string α′-correction to the usual Einstein action comprises a Gauss-Bonnet integrand multiplied by non-trivial functions of the modulus field χ and/or the dilaton field φ. We discuss how the presence of such terms in the four dimensional effective action can explain several novel phenomena, such as a four-dimensional flat Friedmann-Robertson-Walker universe undergoing a cosmic inflation at ...
